The Pub

Just steps from Fishers in Leith, The Shore Bar and Restaurant is a Leith institution in its own right. Time-worn wood panelling, open fires, local beers on draft, and hearty food, inspired by both classic British dishes and modern European fare.

Pull up a seat for a French onion soup or something off the specials board, and come by on Sundays to enjoy live jazz in the bar.

Ask a local Leith resident where to head for fish and chips and they'll tell you 'Fishers on the Shore' without so much as a pause for breath.

Great pub and atmosphere

Really good pub. Very friendly staff. There are places to sit outside, and enjoy a cold beer. They also have live music which was a lovely surprise.

Great fish and chips

I was staying nearby and wanted fish and chips so wandered a very short distance away to the Shore Bar. The meal was wonderful. The fish done perfectly and the chips tasty. The service was good, and the server very pleasant.
