We are getting in touch due to the increased public concern of the Covid-19 outbreak. We would like to be totally transparent and make you all aware of the measures we are taking here at Fishers, ensuring that the health and safety of our staff and guests is put first.

At the moment, none of our staff have been to any of the countries listed by W.H.O and are showing no symptoms or feeling unwell. However, we are monitoring this very closely.

It is our priority that guests can enjoy their Fishers experience in a safe and welcoming environment. Please note this is something which is no different from normal practice following guidelines set out by W.H.O national authorities. Our staff sent updated hygiene and sanitation guides within the restaurant as well as checking these guides regularly ensuring best and up to date practice.

All staff are aware to the standards required within the restaurant and are undertaking the following tasks to ensure complete sanitation.

-Tables, chairs and menus are cleaned with sanitiser before and after every customer

-Bar tops, serving surfaces and serving trays are also cleaned hourly with sanitiser.

-Currently we are more than happy to welcome Fishers guests to our restaurants as we maintain that the Fishers experience is not hindered in any way. We will continue to monitor the situation and are ensuring regular contact among all of our Restaurants within each local authority and regular contact with customers.

We were originally going to go to The Witchery however read some reviews and decided here instead and so glad we did. The service was friendly and professional and both host and waitress were knowledgable and efficient. The seafood sharing platter is to die for and worth well more than the £80 they charge. A whole lobster, more crab claws than you can shake a stick at, several mussels, the biggest scallop I've ever seen accompanied by razor clams and clams and langoustines all which are cooked to absolute perfection. The beauty is they only have a bit of herby butter melted over the top which just accompanies the great seafood taste. Our little diner who is 12 had the ribeye with langoustines (posh surf and turf) which he devoured and said was great. He is a very discerning guest as well. He then also tried some oysters and mussels which he loved. I like the fact they acknowledge how messy it will be and give you several bowls and napkins and constantly replenish which is nice after so much shellage. We live 7 hours away and would drive to have this again.
